possui doutorado (2010) em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2005). Tem experiência na área de Inteligência Computacional, com ênfase em Computação Natural, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: clusterização, biclusterização, otimização em ambientes dinâmicos, otimização combinatória, otimização multi-objetiva, computação natural e sistemas de recomendação. Atualmente tem como focos de pesquisa Sistemas de Recomendação e Otimização diante de Incertezas
