Leslie Kin Wai Chan

Doutor em Antropologia. Program Supervisor for the Joint Program in New Media Studies and the International Studies program at the University of Toronto at Scarborough, in Canada. Since 2000, he has served as the Associate Director of Bioline International. From 1997-2002, was managing editor of an experimental digital publishing unit within the Centre for Instructional Technology Develpopment. These positions reflect my long-standing interest in the use of information technology in support of teaching, learning and research, as well as my commitment to engagein new models of scholarly publishing adn communications.One of the original signatories of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, have been active in experimentation and implementation of open access publishing projects and the set up of open access archives using open sourrce software applications. Since 2003, have tested and evaluated T-Space, an institutional repository at the University of Toronto that is running the DSpace software.
